Care Guide

Proper care of your special products and fabrics will not only extend the life of your item, it will also allow you to enjoy it longer. 

Most of our products and fabrics are prewashed before being printed and sewn, however, you can still expect some shrinkage, approximately 5-10% after your first wash.

Our 50% linen/50% cotton and our 100% cotton items can be hand washed or machine washed on a warm cycle, tumble dried low or air dried flat. Iron if desired on a cotton setting.

Our 100% linen items can be hand washed or machine washed. If using a machine, please wash on temperatures no higher than 30°C/86°F and wash with similar colors. Line dry is always the best option, but if you must use a dryer, only tumble dry on a low setting.

Most of our products and fabrics are hand screen printed with nontoxic inks and sewn in small and limited production runs by artisans we closely work with. Subtle printing imperfections may occur, and color may vary from ink lot to ink lot, making these fabric products a special handcrafted and unique item.

Please note that some printing inks and fabrics are slightly stiffer upon receipt, but will soften into the most comfortable, soft feel after a washing or two.
