All my design work has always been created by hand, starting out in black and white on paper. I cut out shapes and motifs out of black paper and use my pens and markers. I also very often use India ink when I draw. I love how it flows so easily on the paper, but also how it creates strong and crisp lines. These black and white drawings and compositions are simple, bold, and timeless. Many of you have asked me to offer them as prints and I am happy to oblige.
This print is hand screen printed in an open edition by a small, independent screen printer located in Brooklyn. It is printed using nontoxic ink on Stonehenge White Paper of 250 gsm weight.
