Klaro Tote - Rust
Sometimes mistakes really can become a good and lovely thing ... like these totes!
These totes were not planned to be totes at all in the beginning. They were meant to be cushion covers, but that went all really wrong ... the zippers were sewn into the wrong place and the size was off, one of those aggravating production mistakes that are stressful and feel so wasteful.
However, you know what they say: “When life gives you lemons, learn how to juggle”
So I brought these hand screen printed, linen/cotton cushion covers to a local stitch house here in New Jersey along with some hemp webbing that makes for great handles, and now we have some pretty totes ready just in time for spring and summer. I am very happy to now offer you these special, darling totes in a limited edition for a limited time.
PLEASE NOTE: This simple tote is perfect for holding your wallet and keys when you are running errands on a Thursday, or for holding your essentials, sunglasses, and a sweater for a day trip (hmm ... where would you go?). I would not recommend this tote for heavy books, groceries, or for your laptop; it is not constructed for that kind of heavy use.
Tote is 50% cotton 50% linen
strap drop 10"
The tote should be hand washed and hand dried. 5% - 10% shrinkage is expected after the first wash.
